Winter has finally arrived in San Diego and the count down to Christmas is on. There is still time to make a last minute gift-
I know I have been busy at home stitching bindings.
This Friday, Dec. 19th, 5-12m class still has room- if you are looking for seven hours of time to work on a project- Enjoy pizza and socializing with other quilters. Telephone Sowing Sisters to sign up.
SHOP UPDATE
Sowing Sisters Quilt shop is remaining OPEN in 2009. We've made some changes- in hours, classes, etc. and the shop is still for sale -- BUT
Dave and I will keep Sowing Sisters open and will continue to order KAffe Fassest and Amy Butler fabrics and be Janome Sewing Machine dealers. Hope to see you soon at Sowing Sisters, Beckie

A special THANK_YOU to all my friends during this tough transition season. I am humbled and touched by all the kind words of so many during the past month-- They are greatly appreciated--
I definitely feel God has used friends to give me a"hug" and it gives us daily strength.... Thanks again, Beckie---sowingsis

So much to be thankful for--- Our country, health, family and friends.
And of course there is sewing and quilting (and other hobbies too).
I know times are tough for many, but there is always one thing we can control-- our attitude-- and to remember to be grateful--corny but true. So, as we go into this Christmas season I will count my blessings-- which are many. Happy Holidays, Beckie
